With daytime views of Aspen Mountain and nights filled with stars, Theatre Aspen offers professional productions, cabarets, and special events as well as year-round educational programming. For over a decade, the Theatre Aspen Apprentice Program (TAAP) has been a launchpad for rising theatre artists and administrators to train alongside top industry professionals in one of the most stunning places in the country. Apprentices spend the summer working alongwide Bradoway professional on MainStage productions, cabarets, special events, and education programs — getting real-world experience from first rehearsal to final performance.

ON STAGE, BACKSTAGE, and AT THE OFFICE 

COMPANY MANAGEMENT ∙ COSTUME & WARDROBE ∙ CHOREOGRAPHY ∙ DEVELOPMENT ∙ EDUCATION ∙ LIGHTING ∙ MARKETING ∙ MUSIC DIRECTION ∙ PERFORMANCE ∙ SOUND ∙ STAGE MANAGEMENT ∙ PROPS ∙ TECHNICAL/CARPENTRY∙ WRITING & DIRECTION ∙ EDUCATION & CABARET LIGHTING DESIGN ∙ EDUCATION & CABARET SOUND DESIGN ∙ STAGE OPERATIONS 

All apprenticeships receive a $400 per week scholarship plus housing and travel for the duration of the season from mid-May through late August.
